Banner campaign setup
Set up a banner campaign on UluMob in 300x250, 728x90, 320x50 or 160x600, billed per rendered impression or per conversion.
Banners are display ads in fixed sizes, placed by publishers in their page layouts. See Banner for where each size runs.
Pricing
| Pricing model | Current default floor | Charged when |
|---|---|---|
| CPM | $0.05 per 1,000 impressions | The banner renders on the page |
| CPA | $0.50 per conversion | A valid postback arrives |
Country floors can be higher; see the traffic volume page. The current default minimum daily budget is $15.
A CPM banner is billed when it is actually displayed, not when it is requested. The banner document carries a signed render beacon, and you pay when that beacon fires. A beacon counts once. See Minimum bids for how CPM billing works.
Sizes
| Size | Typical placement |
|---|---|
| 300x250 | Any device |
| 728x90 | Desktop |
| 160x600 | Desktop |
| 320x50 | Mobile |
What each ad needs
| Field | Required | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Destination URL | Yes | http or https, up to 2,048 characters, macros allowed |
| Banner size | Yes | One of the four sizes above |
| Image | Yes | Exactly the chosen size, up to 150 KB, JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP |

The form also shows optional title and description fields. The image must match the size you pick to the pixel. A 300x250 ad with a 600x500 image is refused when you save.
Set up the campaign
- Go to
/app/advertiser/campaigns/new. - In Basics, choose Banner and pick CPM or CPA.
- Enter your bid and daily budget.
- Choose countries in Geo and devices in Traffic. Match devices to your sizes: 320x50 is a mobile size, 728x90 and 160x600 are desktop sizes.
- In Ads, for each banner: enter the destination URL, pick the Banner size, then choose or upload the Image.
- Select Add another ad for each further size or creative.
- Select Create campaign.
Each ad holds one size. To run three sizes, add three ads.
Third-party impression pixel
If you count impressions in your own ad server or verification tool, paste its https pixel URL into Third-party impression pixel. It is passed along with the ad so it can fire when the banner is shown. It is reviewed with the ad, so changing it sends the ad back to review.
Destination URL and size macro
The {bansize} macro carries the size of the placement the banner ran in, so you can split results by size in your tracker:
https://tracker.example/c?cid={click_id}&size={bansize}&zone={zone_id}
See the macros list.
Tips
- Judge banners on cost per result rather than click rate. Click rates on display are usually low.
- Keep files light. The 150 KB limit applies to every banner image.
- Group reports by zone and block placements that render but never lead anywhere. See Source lists and blocking.
