Telegram Mini Apps campaign setup
Set up a campaign inside Telegram Mini Apps on UluMob, with CPM or CPC pricing and a title of up to 40 characters.
Telegram Mini Apps placements put your ad inside games and tools that run in Telegram and carry the UluMob placement. See Telegram Mini Apps for the audience.
Pricing
| Pricing model | Current default floor | Charged when |
|---|---|---|
| CPM | $0.10 per 1,000 impressions | The ad renders |
| CPC | $0.003 per click | The visitor clicks |
Country floors can be higher than the defaults above. Check the traffic volume page for your countries. The current default minimum daily budget is $15.
CPM is billed when the ad is actually shown, through a signed render beacon that counts once. CPC is billed at the click.
What each ad needs
| Field | Required | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Destination URL | Yes | http or https, up to 2,048 characters, macros allowed |
| Title | Yes | Up to 40 characters |
| Description | No | Up to 45 characters |
| Image | No | JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 1024 KB |
A square image works well next to a title. A wide 320x50 image suits banner-style placements.
Set up the campaign
- Go to
/app/advertiser/campaigns/new. - In Basics, choose Telegram Mini Apps and pick CPM or CPC.
- Enter your bid and daily budget.
- Choose countries in Geo. Telegram audiences are concentrated in some regions, so check volumes per country before you set a large budget.
- In Ads, enter the destination URL and a title. Add a description and an image if you have them.
- Add more ads to test titles, then select Create campaign.
Destination URL
Your destination can be a web landing page, a bot link or a Mini App link, as long as it is an http or https URL. Add {click_id} if you track conversions through a tracker:
https://tracker.example/c?cid={click_id}&zone={zone_id}&geo={geo}
If your destination is a Telegram link that cannot carry query parameters to your tracker, send traffic through your tracker first and let it redirect. See the macros list.
Targeting tips
- Categories in Advanced let you include or exclude Mini Apps by the category the publisher assigned.
- Leave the In-app browsers filter in Advanced at Everyone unless your reports give you a reason to change it.
- Language targeting by browser language helps when your offer is in one language only.
Choosing CPM or CPC
- Choose CPC if your title and image do the selling and you want to pay only for interest.
- Choose CPM if you want reach and can judge results by conversions per thousand impressions.
Pricing cannot be changed after the campaign is created, so run separate campaigns to compare.
