Smartlinks

One link for many offers: the smartlink picks, for each visitor, the fitting offer that earns the most, and keeps a returning visitor on the same offer.

A smartlink (https://<tracking domain>/sl/{code}) sends each visitor to the best offer for them among the offers you may run. Create one at /app/affiliate/links with New smartlink.

How an offer is chosen

  1. Offers you may not run (not approved, blocked), and offers the visitor does not fit (country, device, operating system, carrier, connection, language, schedule) or that reached a cap are left out.
  2. A visitor who came through the smartlink in the last 30 minutes goes to the same offer again.
  3. 10% of the other visitors go to a random fitting offer, so that new offers get measured.
  4. Everyone else goes to the offer with the highest earnings per click for their country and connection type. Until an offer has 200 clicks there, its EPC is estimated from your payout and an expected conversion rate.

When no offer fits, the visitor goes to trafficback with the most common reason among the offers, or no_offer: your link's trafficback URL, else the platform's. With neither, a partner network's smartlink may take the visitor; that is a normal click of your link (link type partner_tb in your statistics) and you earn if it converts.

Try it in the Test Lab

The smartlink simulator in the Test Lab (CPA and smartlinks) runs the same decision for a visitor you describe (country, device, operating system, carrier, connection, language, time) on one of your smartlinks, or on settings you have not saved yet. It names the offer the visitor would get, and for every other live offer what rules it out: the smartlink's own settings, or the reason the visitor does not fit. It shows each offer's EPC and whether it is measured or still estimated. Nothing is clicked or counted.

Statistics

Smartlink clicks appear in /app/affiliate/stats with the offer each visitor went to; group by offer to see where your traffic converts.
