Links and formats

Get a tracking link for an offer, fill sub1 to sub5 with your network's macros, pick a tracking domain, and use the link as a URL, script, clickunder or QR code.

A link sends visitors to one offer. It looks like https://<tracking domain>/go/Ab3dEf9h?sub1=…&sub2=…. Manage your links at /app/affiliate/links.

  1. On the offer page select Get link.
  2. Choose the traffic source the visitors come from (an approved one).
  3. Choose a tracking domain. The default one is preselected; a domain our team blocks is replaced by the default on every link.
  4. Pick your traffic network preset, if you buy traffic from one. It fills sub1 to sub5 with the network's macros; its click ID goes to sub1.
  5. Optionally set a trafficback URL for visitors the offer cannot take.
  6. Select Create link and copy it.

Sub IDs

sub1 to sub5 carry your own values: the network's click ID, zone, campaign or anything you want to break your traffic down by. The network replaces its macros with real values before the visitor arrives. They come back in your statistics, grouped by any of them.

Presets are ready for Adsterra, PropellerAds, HilltopAds, Clickadu, Kadam, RichAds, EvaDav, TrafficStars, ExoClick, Zeropark, MGID, Taboola, Outbrain, Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Telegram, Push.House and RollerAds. Check the macros in your network's panel before you launch: networks rename them from time to time. Where we know the network's postback template, the link shows it; to send your conversions to the network, add it under Postback in the link form or on the Postback page (see Postback to your tracker).

Formats

Format Use
Direct URL In your traffic network, a page link, a message.
JavaScript redirect A page of your own that forwards every visitor.
Clickunder A page of your own: the offer opens in a new tab on the visitor's first click.
QR code Print and posters.

The script, clickunder and QR code use the link without sub macros.

Trafficback

A visitor the offer cannot take goes to your trafficback URL, else the platform's default. With neither, a partner network's smartlink may take the visitor (never a paused link or invalid traffic): that is a normal click of your link (link type partner_tb in your statistics) and you earn if it converts. Otherwise the visitor sees a short "no offer" page. Reasons: paused, fraud, access, schedule, geo, device, carrier, connection, language, targeting, cap, no_offer. In the URL, {reason}, {sub1} to {sub5}, {geo} and {offer_id} are replaced, for example https://example.com/tb?r={reason}&s={sub1}.

Invalid traffic

Bots, datacenter and proxy IPs and click floods are recorded as invalid and never paid. Depending on the platform setting they still reach the offer or go to trafficback.

Pause and archive

A paused link sends its visitors to trafficback. An archived link stops working at once; its statistics stay.
