Reviewing CPA conversions
On a CPA offer every conversion waits for the offer's hold; approve it early, or reject it with a reason and get the charge back, and export the list.
On a CPA offer (a CPA campaign with payouts per event) each conversion your postback reports has a status. Review them at /app/advertiser/conversions.
The hold
You are charged for a conversion as soon as the postback arrives. The conversion is then pending for the offer's hold, which you set in the campaign's Offer step; offers that set none hold for 7 days. During the hold the affiliate's payout waits and cannot be withdrawn.
When the hold ends the conversion is approved by itself and the affiliate is paid. An offer without a hold approves conversions at once.
Approve or reject
While the hold runs you can:
- Approve a conversion early, for example once the sale is confirmed.
- Reject it with a reason, for example a duplicate lead, a cancelled order or a test. The charge comes back to your balance at once, and the affiliate sees your reason.
Select several conversions to decide them together; a rejection needs one reason for all of them. Once the hold has ended only our team can reverse a conversion, so make your checks inside the hold. An affiliate can dispute a rejection once; our team then reviews it, and if the conversion turns out to be real it is approved and charged again.
Events and rebills
The postback can name the event with event= instead of the conversion type letter, for example event=sale or event=rebill. Rebills are charged for each renewal when their conversion type allows repeats and each call carries its own tx_id; event=unsub is recorded for statistics only. See Postback setup.
If your tracker knows the visitor's IP address or country, add ip= or country= to the postback: a conversion from another country than its click is flagged for review.
Filters and export
Filter by offer, status, event, date, affiliate ID and sub IDs. Download CSV exports every conversion that matches, with its status, payout, hold, reason and sub IDs. Affiliates appear by their ID only.
