Add funds

Top up your UluMob advertising balance by card, check the minimum deposit and see how campaigns spend from a prepaid balance.

UluMob works on a prepaid balance. You add funds first, and every campaign spends from that one balance. When the balance can no longer cover the next impression, click or conversion, your campaigns stop buying until you top up.

Payment methods

Today, deposits are made by card through Stripe. Other methods are not available yet. The billing page always shows what you can use.

Minimum and maximum deposit

Limit Current default
Minimum card deposit $50
Maximum single deposit $100000

The billing page shows the minimum that applies to your account, so check it there if the figure above has changed.

Add funds by card

  1. Open Billing at /app/advertiser/billing.
  2. Under Add funds by card (USD), enter the amount and select Continue.
  3. Enter your card details in the payment form and select Pay.
  4. Wait for the confirmation. The deposit appears under Transactions.

Your balance is credited only when Stripe confirms the payment to us. This usually takes a few seconds, and until then the deposit shows as pending. If your bank asks for extra authentication, complete it in the payment form, otherwise the payment is not confirmed.

Submitting the same deposit twice, for example by refreshing the page mid-payment, does not charge you twice. Each deposit carries a unique key, and a repeated request returns the deposit that was already created.

Receipts

Each completed deposit has a Receipt link in the transactions table. The receipt opens as a printable page you can save for your records.

How spending works

Money leaves your balance at the moment the billable event happens:

Pricing model When you are charged
CPM When the ad actually renders, or when a popunder or redirect opens
CPV When the player reports that the video started
CPC When a visitor clicks the ad
CPA When a valid conversion postback arrives

An ad request that never renders costs nothing. Traffic that the engine marks as bot traffic, click flooding or a replayed click link is not billed. See Minimum bids and Budgets and limits for how bids and budgets interact with your balance.

When the balance runs out

Before a campaign can win an auction, the engine checks that your balance, the campaign's daily budget and its total budget can all still pay for the next event. If any of them cannot, the campaign is skipped for that request. Nothing is paused or deleted: as soon as you add funds, the campaign competes again.

The Campaigns page shows your current balance next to an Add funds button, so you can see at a glance whether a quiet campaign is simply out of money.
