Media library

Upload images, icons and videos once, organise them in folders, reuse them across campaigns and delete the ones you no longer need.

The media library holds every image, icon and video you upload. Ads do not carry their own files; they reference an item in the library. That means you upload a file once and use it in as many ads and campaigns as you like.

Open the library at /app/advertiser/creatives.

Upload a file

  1. Choose the type: Image, Icon or Video.
  2. Pick the file from your computer.
  3. Optionally type a folder name, up to 60 characters.
  4. Select Upload.

The file is checked on upload. If it does not meet the rules for its type, nothing is stored and the error tells you why.

Type Accepted Limit
Image JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP 1024 KB, 100 x 50 to 4000 x 4000 pixels
Icon JPG, PNG, WebP 300 KB, square, at least 192 x 192 pixels
Video MP4 20 MB

Banner ads have an extra rule that is checked when you save the campaign, not at upload: the image must match the banner size exactly and weigh 150 KB or less. See creative specs for the full list per format.

After upload, each item shows its id, type, pixel dimensions, file size and folder.

Folders

Folders keep a large library manageable, for example one folder per offer or per language. There is nothing to create in advance: type a folder name when you upload, and the folder exists from then on. Use the folder filter above the grid to show one folder at a time.

The folder is set at upload. To file an item somewhere else, upload it again with the new folder name.

Use a creative in an ad

When you edit an ad in the campaign form, the image and icon fields open your library. Pick the item you want. The same item can be used by any number of ads.

Popunder and domain redirect campaigns need no creative, so you can run them without uploading anything.

Delete a creative

Select Delete on the item. Deletion is refused while the creative is used by an ad in a campaign that still exists. In that case:

  1. Open the campaign that uses it.
  2. Pick a different creative for that ad, or remove the ad.
  3. Save the campaign, then delete the creative.

Deleted creatives disappear from the library and can no longer be picked. Your past reports are not affected; the ads that used the file keep their history.

Using the library through the API

The same actions are available to scripts with an API key. All paths are relative to https://ulumob.com/api/v1:

Method and path What it does
GET /advertiser/creatives Lists your creatives, newest first. Filters: kind, folder, per_page (1 to 200, default 50).
POST /advertiser/creatives Multipart upload with kind (image, icon or video), file and optional folder.
GET /advertiser/creatives/folders The folder names in use.
DELETE /advertiser/creatives/{id} Deletes a creative that no ad uses.

An upload returns the stored item with its id. Use that id as creative_id (image) or icon_creative_id (icon) on an ad. See Campaigns API for the ad payload.
