Referral program

Every UluMob account has a referral link. When an advertiser signs up through your link and adds funds, you earn a percentage of each of their deposits for a fixed number of months. The commission is paid into your earnings balance.

The rate and period in force are shown on your account page. At the time of writing they are 5% of each deposit for 12 months.

Find your link

1. Open /app/account.
2. Under Referral program, copy your link. It has this form:

/r/{your-code}

The panel shows it as a full address you can paste anywhere.

The same section shows how many accounts you have referred and how much commission you have earned.

How a referral is recorded

1. A visitor opens your link and is taken to the sign-up page.
2. The link is remembered in their browser for 30 days.
3. If they create an account within that time, from the same browser, the new account is recorded as referred by you.

Sign-ups through the API send your code in the referral_code field of POST /api/v1/auth/register instead.

A sign-up without a referral link, or with a code that does not exist, is recorded as referred by UluMob itself (the link /r/ulumob). That changes nothing for the new account.

The referral is fixed at sign-up. It cannot be added later to an account that already exists, and it cannot be moved from one referrer to another.

Your account must be active for the link to work. A link from a suspended account does not record referrals.

A referral is not recorded when it looks like you inviting yourself: a sign-up from the same IP address as yours, or from the same company email domain (shared providers such as Gmail do not count). A deposit paid from the same card or PayPal account as yours earns no commission either. In these cases the account is created normally; it just does not count as your referral.

How commission is calculated

Commission is paid when a referred advertiser's deposit completes. Each completed deposit within the referral period earns:

commission = deposit amount x referral rate

For example, at a rate of 5%, a completed deposit of $200 earns you $10.

• The referral period runs from the date the referred account was created. Deposits made after the period has ended earn nothing.
• Only completed deposits count. Pending or failed payments, bonuses, refunds and adjustments do not.
• Each deposit pays commission once.
• Commission is not paid if your account is not active when the deposit completes.

Where the money goes

Commission is credited to your earnings balance, the same balance that publisher revenue goes into, whatever type of account you have. It appears there as a bonus transaction, and on the account page under Earned.

You withdraw it through the publisher payout flow at /app/publisher/payouts, with the same minimum and weekly schedule as other earnings. See Payouts.

An advertiser-only account keeps its commission in the earnings balance until it has a publisher account. Under Referral program on the account page, choose Also open a publisher account (same login and balances), then add a payout method under Payouts. UluMob does not open the publisher account for you.

Conditions

Referral commission is meant for bringing new advertisers to UluMob. The full conditions are on the referral program page and in the terms of service.

Using the API

GET https://ulumob.com/api/v1/account/referrals returns your link, the rate (pct), the period (months), the number of referred accounts, the total earned and the 20 most recent commission payments. See Authentication and keys for how to call it.
